The MC 49 is a top-notch small diaphragm microphone with a unique feature. The innovative design allows the doubling of the sensitivity of the microphone without affecting the sound pressure handling capability! The microphone has a very high output (switchable 10 or 20 mV/Pa), low self noise levels and an overload capability extending to 140 dB SPL. As a matched stereo pair this microphone is often used in concert halls, as main microphones for the recording of orchestra.
